Burris speed bead or?

Hello,
I have Benelli M2 with steady grip stock. Think I want a red dot.
Do I want a Burris speed bead or have Rob Roberts drill and tap?
With the speed bead is the glass to close to eyes or not?
What you think?

Look at the Meadow Creek Mount, i just received one for my M1 90 ...

Drill and tap it.   The sight needs to be close to your eye.

Drill & tap it , but you don't necessarily have to send it to Roberts.

I've used the speed bead mount on a versa max and didn't like it, the dot is to close to the beads .

Hey, William, out of curiosity why do you think the sight needs to be close to your eye? Obviously you know a pile more about these sights and have seen them on more guns than most of us so I'm really curious.

Well look at rifles.  Look at peep sights.  Look at all the guns that are drill from factory.   They put them on the back for a reason.  You look through the sight not at the sight.   Your eyes will play games with you if you get the stuff out a way from you.

And that's a FACT!!! Your eyes will definitely play tricks on you. Less in the way the better.
