I came across this gun, in excellent shape and I just purchased It. I thought my collection was done for the year but after seeing this gun become available and for a great price,I went ahead and bought it. It is shipping today or tomorrow and I should have it later in week as he is not far away.

I wasn't passing it up, I have never ever seen this gun around up here and the shape and price, I jumped on it. I'll pattern it and get it in woods this weekend if I receive it.

Yes, I am very happy to come across this model, with the engraving. I am thinking about buying a pure gold .670 to use, or test in it. I have never owned a pure gold, and always wanted one and I see there is a barely used one for a real good price. I already have lots of others to try as well, I have a few brands that I have never tried though and thought maybe I'd go that way for this gun, It comes with a Carlson's predator choke and the dead ringer sights,I'll be taking those sights off and that choke out to start with.

HBK, I have a Browning Maxus 12 gauge that I shoot with a PURE GOLD .670 turkey choke.  I shot the Hevi-shot straight #7s. Oh my God, awesome patterns. They certainly make great chokes.

Have a good one

Awesome find! I have the 870 25th anniversary and don't ever plan on selling it.

I arrived home from work on Friday,I am off at 8-9am,and it still wasnt here but I had plans so I left for camp to hunt, and gun arrived around 5pm, so after we hunted Saturday morning I drove home and picked the gun up,I wanted to pattern it and hunt with it, the gun is in 99% shape,it has 4 small marks on barrel half the size of a match head, other than that it barely ever used,no wear at all.

I set up and shot 4 different chokes and 4 different shells with the dead ringer sights, It patterned everything very very well, with all chokes. I attached a set of truglo fiber optics, adjusted them to left almost all the way and as far down as I could and I was dead on. I ended up sticking with a tss jellyhead .650 for now,as It shot very well.

I shot tss 7's, mag blends, Browning 4's and Longbeard 6's through a longbeard xr,original jellyhead, primos tightwad and the tss jellyhead .650.

This gun shoots incredible patterns with everything but I was floored by the Browning 4's at 45 yards, I can interchange every shell without worrying,I am gonna shoot Browning 4's from this gun, I love 4's and all I can say it is incredible patterns and it seems like the majoprity of pellets are all within a basketball at 45 yards. I did keep targets and once season is over,Ill post pictures of them. I carried gun the rest of weekend, It has easily become a top 5 gun and I will be toting it for years, I am considering having it drilled and tapped as I couldn't care less about it holding "value" for anyone but myself,I think I want a vortex venom on this for next spring. 10 out of 10 on this buy!

I actually may order an try a meadow creek mount before I get it drilled, seeing as it was only manufactured for one year,1998.
