Got this eastern shore bird on public today. My over under is firing both barrels at once. Ouch.  This happened last year too.  I using apex tss 8s 1100 fps. I'm using a .685 choke.  Do you think the choke is so tight that it creates this double fire.  ?Never had this with a 695 choke and nitro ammo. I only put one shell in anymore. Any ideas?and having problems posting pics with I phone need help?

Posted for Potter, congrats buddy!

A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
Over time...they come to learn how little air a good yelper actually requires. ChesterCopperpot

Thanks John. I'm just a dumb guy with a smart phone.  But it's great to have smart friends.

Congrats Potter! I would have a good gunsmith check out the doubling issue, something is certainly
off. Maybe something is broke or worn in the action, or some debris found it's way in there.

What make and model is that gun? I think I need one of those.

It's an armi San Marco. Don't know much about it. I bought at an estate sale in the late 80s.  I had same problem.  A gun smith correct Ed it.  A couple of years ago i had brielly choke tubes added.  It seemed fine till last year. I had 2 double fires while hunting. Now I just use one shell.  With a tight choke do you get more recoil than a wide-open choke?  I might try a 710 choke for the rest of season

Congrats on a nice one

doubling is no fun with rabbit loads, hate the thought of turkey loads
