Anthony Ellis/AGE Trumpet

Spitten & Drummen and I ran up to Kentucky for a short hunt and this was the first time I have ever used a trumpet and I didn't think I played one good, but called 2 in to about 35 yds after playing with them with a box and pot call for about 35 minutes they just wouldn't close the distance, so I thought why not try the trumpet and they closed the gap from about 200 yds to 35 yds in 2 minutes after using the trumpet.

I was fortunate to get out after having the brain tumor removed on Feb 28th. and what a first day hunt!

It is a African Blackwood.

I think Anthony makes the easiest running yelpers of any I've ever owned. Hell of a good dude to boot. Congrats on a fine bird!

Congratulations bud. I did not think I was good enough on one myself until I think it was 2 years ago I was out running dogs the last week we could and I was in the truck on the side of the road practicing and called in I think it was 2 for sure and maybe 3. Just goes to show we can be better than we think.
