I recently purchased a Mossberg SA-20. Followed directions in manual on installing barrel. Barrel was hard to seat. Now I can't removed the barrel. Removed forearm and released the bolt. Pulled on barrel but it would not  budge.

most are like that.  Pull the bolt back about halfway..hold it...and maybe twist (work) the barrel a little side to side while pulling the barrel out. When you put the barrel back in...same thing.. just pull the bolt back about half way and work it in

Thats what i had to do to mine.

My barrel takes some muscle to get off.

Mine i started the barrel down a little.  Then pulled the bolt back a little.  Pushed the barrel on the rest of the way. My wife's tristar raptor youth 20ga is same way. My tristar g2 viper 28ga same way.

Mine takes a little playing with bolt position as well as some push and pull.  Check and make sure your set screws for the scope rail are not poking through!

Great point...I completely forgot about this...  I had a different Moss SA-20 years ago (not the one I have now) and I couldn't get the barrel off to save my life. It ended up being a set screw holding down the barrel as stated above....
