Beginner

I have made a bunch of pot calls but never a trumpet was going to give it a try just for myself my question is do you turn your own mouth pieces,or do you buy them. Didn't really know what to make them out of. I would appreciate any help. Thanks

Make your own, delrin works as good as anything, also you can make them from the same wood as the call.

Thanks for the info guys! I know when I started turning pot calls it took a long time and a big trash can full of calls that was well sub standard to get the dimension that would produce the sound I was after. And I expect no differance with trumpets. Mabe worse with learning what dimension changes the sound but I do enjoy it.
