Please post the scoring photos of your gobblers on this page. Remember that clear photographs of correctly measured, scored and posted birds will go a long way in helping to keep nervous tics from developing in our competitors.
Post the following photographs for each bird:
1. Photograph of the entire turkey hanging on the scales.
2. One close up shot of the scale reading showing weight to the nearest ounce.
3. Right spur with a spur measuring gauge or tape measure running along the
outside curve from the tip to the point where the spur emerges from the leg scales.
4. Left spur with a spur measuring gauge or tape measure running along the
outside curve from the tip to the point where the spur emerges from the leg scales.
5. One shot of the entire beard with one end of the tape at the skin and stretched out the whole length of the beard.
6. One close up shot of the end of the longest strand on the tape measure for the overall beard length.
7. Overall photograph with your grinning mug, the entire gobbler and a clearly filled out TR20s Scoring sheet.
Also remember to remove any carrying device that you use prior to weighing the bird. A piece of string is allowable to tie to the feet and then attach to the scale. Taking the extra time to get clear and accurate photos will help eliminate any potential problems concerning disputes over scoring.
Please post scoring photos of every bird that you take. I post every scored bird that you shoot on the team scoring Running Tally Board, updating so that your highest score is in bold numbers.
Cheers
