Boney Patch Parent/Mentor GIVEAWAY!

Hello everyone.

Before I get started, I would like to say that I'm doing this on my own. Old Gobbler has no affiliation with this giveaway whatsoever.

I purchased 5, 2022 Old Gobbler Boney patches that I will be giving away this spring to the first 5 parents/mentors who are successful at putting a kid on a thier 1st legal turkey and post it to this thread.

Include in the post a pic with the kid, the bird, and a small story about the hunt. Here's the catch. The kid has to be the one to tell the story. The giveaway wont start until April 11th . Do not post until april 11th to enter the giveaway. Starting April 11th at 12:00am Eastern Time the 1st post to this thread that meets the requirements will receive 1 patch. Old Gobbler time stamp is Eastern Time zone so I will use Old Gobbler Time stamp as official clock.

The remaining patches will be given away one at time on Mon of each week following April 11th at 12:00am respectively to the 1st post that day until all 5 patches are gone.

So basically the 1st post to this tread that meets the requirements each Monday at 12:00am Old Gobbler Time starting April 11th  will receive 1 patch until the 5 patches are given out.

Pm me after you post here and I'll get specifics as to where to send the patch. I'll pay the shipping. I'll get them out to you as soon as I can between hunts and work.
Edit: If somebody beats you to the post and your story has already been posted just quote your post on the following Monday to enter the next weeks giveaway.

Just a heads up, I edited the rules above. If you've been beaten to the post and your story has already been posted, just quote your post the following week for entry instead of posting the story again.

Not sure how participation will be and if it will matter. Just trying to make it as easy as possible to get a few lucky kids a patch.

I was just thinking it might be hard for some you to get a pic with you and the kid at the same time so just post a pic of the kid and his bird and the story. I edited it above to reflect the change.

I would have liked for MKW to get a patch!!! Wish that there was a "Nomination". He takes and introduces a lot of kids and others to our great chase! I always look forward to his stories and photos.
