Here's a discussion starter.....

If you could only have 2 woods available for all of your turkey call needs (box calls, scratch boxes, pot calls, trumpets....) what would they be?

I've been tossing this around for a couple days.  I guess I'd settle on poplar and walnut.  They are very capable of meeting the need but it would hurt to give up some of the others.

Trumpets: Lignum Vitae and Brazilian Rosewood

Cocuswood would be a third but since I can only do two.

Walnut and  Snakewood  are  my picks. I assume this includes strikers.
