Here are my season limit of bucks here in Georgia. I killed the big bodied 9 point back in November. Foggy, drizzly morning and I drove down to my lease and went to the nearest stand. At the first hint of light, I saw him watching over a doe at 165 yards, I took my time and the buck made it about 50 yards after the shot.

Buck #2

The 8 point was killed yesterday evening (12/23) on a quick bow hunt after work. He came down an old road bed following a doe fawn. 21 yard shot and of course he ran off a big hill down to a small wet branch. The hill is steep enough that I could tell for the last 15-20 yards that he had slid down the hill from his momentum. Double lung shot and I heard his fall in about 5-6 seconds.

Now, I've got a score to settle with a few does.

Merry Christmas to all!
