I received a box from Scott about a month or so ago after having to hound him down since 2020! In all seriousness, the box is an absolute smoker. Told him to make whatever he wanted and it's a Bolivian Rosewood/Spalted Sycamore box. Sounds absolutely unbelievable. Almost afraid to take it into the woods this spring because I want to preserve the thing forever, but if you ever get a chance to have him build you a box, I'd highly recommend it

Agree he makes a fine call.. I have the last smooth side call that he made black cherry over american chestnut and it's awesome ... I also have a match set of his calls IPE over butternut ...

Agreed.  I was fortunate to have him send me a box last year.  Sounds great, but to be honest, it's so darn pretty I'm afraid to take the thing out hunting!  It's like a work of art.
