T/C .45/410 with tss

 Has anyone tried TSS in a T/C 45/410 with standard T/C screw in choke?

I know a couple hunters who shoot TSS #9 in that gun in a pistol configuration. Its pretty wicked. Not sure of the choke they use.  CAUTION. Pistol setup not legal in all states.

Original model (not S&W) .45 LC/.410. 7/8 ounce load of #9 TSS through the factory "wad slower choke" at 37 yards.  Had to drift the sight a touch right but I think she's solid to 40 yards...

What barrel length in T/C Contender 45/410 ?
I've got better patterns in a 10" barrel for shooting Squirrels and Rabbits .
I've got  10" ,14" and 16" barrel in the 45/410.

I have a Encore 45/410 15". Using Apex 9 shot and factory choke. 30 yds is my line in the sand. It might kill one farther but pattering it i didn't have that warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Using winchester 3" 7 shot 20 yds i started losing that feeling. I have killed several squirrels out to 20 yds. 6 and 4 lead shot i never had much luck.
