2 new ones from Buster

While I'm posting new acquisitions here's a crystal over aluminum in a Bocote pot and a ceramic Blue Maho from Buster Halford.  These sound better than they look.  I scored one of those crystal surfaced Tulipwood pots from him last month too.

That Mahoe Ceramic is no joke - great sounding call, that Bocote should be a screamer, I'll bet.

I will second the Ceramic/Blue Mahoe being a phenomenal call. I got one last year and that call never leaves my vest. Larry builds an outstanding call no matter which surface you are looking for. I have every color slate in one of his pots.

I too have the ceramic/blue mahoe, but I also had him build me a stoned aluminum/blue mahoe. It's incredible. With the JLH heavy hickory, it is the second best pot I have of his. The best overall in my opinion is his purple slate/cocobolo. It's splitting hairs with all his calls though as to which is the best.

I only have 2 of his.  A glass over slate osage and a red slate over aluminum persimmon.  Both are undeniable smokers.
