Cocuswood Trumpet

This is what I've been working on this week.  I made a Cocuswood call with African Blackwood trim, a Buffalo horn mouthpiece with a threaded brass tip. The lip stop is Cocuswood with a woodwind cork lining to firmly seat the stop.

Top shelf work, and about the only thing rarer than Cocuswood would be Unicorn Horn.

I really like the tone on this one.  I used instrument grade Cocuswood on this call.  This one is on the way to the call competition so I hope "she" does well.

That Trumpet is amazing Seth, absolutely beautiful work and I know it will do well in the competition.  Always wanted to make a Trumpet from Cocuswood, but never found any in my search!
