Shannon uses unique wood combos in his push pins. Snakewood, African Blackwood, Macassar Ebony, Gaboon Ebony, and Poplar (used this in his hunter friendly pushpin that has no cover. He only made a handful of these). They all have very unique sounds, all turkey. Most people that have more than one probably like them all, a little different sound unique to each wood combo. The best thing about having 2 of his push pins is the ability to imitate a gobbler fight. Nothing mimics this better, and it will bring the big guy in.
