What gauge? If 12 then the Beretta A300 turkey. If 20 then the Franchi.

You could get a Franchi A3 and spend the rest on a red dot and choke.

The SA-20 seems to be a great option as well.  Most I know that have one have been very pleased.

I have a Franchi A3 compact 20 and a Mossberg SA 20 Turkey model ,both have ff3’s . I like them both but I wish that the Franchi had a full size stock  sometimes. The SA20 shoulders better for me and is a very handy gun with the 22” barrel . Both are very light weight and pattern good enough for me. The Mossberg was about 100 bucks cheaper btw.

If you have interest in going sub-gauge don't overlook the Mossberg SA-410 either, they sell one totally set up for turkey right out of the box in original Bottomland. This little gun with TSS will do anything you need it to that any turkey set up in any gauge with lead can do and you'll have plenty of budget money left to get shells for it.
