Black Hills

Finished my season strong by filling my Black Hills tag. Tough hunting out here, very little gobbling and the ones that did didn't gobble very much. Got lucky to find a hot bird Tuesday morning and chased him for quite a distance before I was able to call him in. I just happened to bump in to the hen he was with and that left him alone. Last time I called to him he about blew me over with his gobble. First time to the Black Hills, very beautiful place!

I suggest it to any turkey hunter that has never been there. It was my first time and was a very humbling experience.
