Has anyone put an aftermarket pistol grip stock on their 870 20ga.  If so, which one, and do you like it.  I'm really wanting to add one to mine.   I'm not talking about the Shurshot stock by Remington, but something like the Phoenix Kicklite, Mesa Tactical, Choate, etc.

I was one of the first in my area years ago to put a pistol grip stock on 870 .. the one i have is the Choate, it has worked great with no problems.. you can pm me if you want pictures of the gun with this stock...

At one time, I used a Knoxx adjustable stock. Now, I have a Shurshot. The Shurshot raised my cheek, so I used a vortex venom sight.

I used an ATI- 3, which works good for me, It was then on sale at Optics Planet

Does that fit the 20ga? I saw that one in my search earlier but it was listed as if it only fit the 12ga.
I really like the looks of the Mesa Tactical Urbino, and they have the Lucy adapter to make it fit the 20ga.
If it fits though, I do like the adjustability of the ATI, as well as the cheek rest. I don't see a sling stud in the stock though, how does that work?

It went right on with no issues...

The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

What ever you end up choosing make sure it either has a killer good recoil pad or can take an AM one.
