Quote from: Spring Creek Calls on May 15, 2021, 07:42:54 AMI've shot Apex (20 ga), Federal (20 ga), Foxtrot (12, 28 ga) and Burgess Creek (12 ga). All patterned well out of my guns and all but the Burgess Creek have killed turkeys. The 12 gauge are 2-3/4" and I prefer the lighter Foxtrot Mini Twister load (1-5/8 oz) over the Burgess Creek load (1-7/8 oz) for my Model 12. I plan on shooting the Burgess Creek loads out of my 1300 which will handle the recoil much better. The 1-1/2 oz. 28 gauge Cherry Bombs from Foxtrot are the bomb, pun intended.

The difference in recoil is very noticeable between the Mini Twister and the Burgess Creek load, especially to my 80+ year old Model 12.
