Insanity Hot Sauce

We had a bottle of that stuff in college and would make a batch of chili and dip a toothpick in it and throw it in the pot. It made for some very hot chili. We also used to have people dip a toothpick in it and tell them to just get a speck on it and put it in their mouth. It was fun to see all the faces you get when that stuff hits their tongue. The worst was one of my friends who thought he would be tougher than everyone else and dipped his toothpick in deep and stuck it in his mouth. This happened on the night of a buddys birthday, and we were all going to the bar later. He spent the night at home throwing up and drinking milk to get rid of the burning. Needless to say, he won't come near the stuff anymore. That stuff is pure hell in a bottle.

Hot peppers evolved that way to keep cattle from eating them.

I like to think I'm smarter than a cow, so I stay away from really hot peppers.

I'll just stick to my Mace breath freshener.

My buddy buys it direct by the gallons, and we refill our bottles at 1/2 the price. He must go thru a bottle a day. Dang good taste.

That stuff made it's rounds here back in the early 90's.
I indeed had some fun with it. One guy at work was always looking to improve his hot wings.
I got some DIS and put it into a souffle cup and told him it was hot, but maybe he'd like t add it to his hot wings.
 
He didn't use a tooth pick, he put his first finger into it and had a bunch on there. Before I could say anything, into his mouth it went. His eyes got big as dollars, he cussed a bit before going for the milk in a big way....lol


Another one was a waitress who makes the best hot sausage I've ever had. 
She too put her finger in...wow was she hurtin and mad at me....
I did feel bad about it, but it was still funny.

  I didn't like it, it has a terrible taste to it...kinda a tastes like battery acid smells.
I love hot stuff "with flavor" but now as I'm getting older, I find I still love the hot stuff, but it doesn't like me anymore....feels like my guts are being ripped up
 
 
I will have to try Melinda's habanero hot sauce. I liked the Tabasco with habanero on fries...never had a whole bottle, just at a friends place.
I love the flavor of habanero peppers...kind of a fruity flavor if you can taste after the 3rd or 4th chomp....lol

The flavor of Dave's insanity hot sauce was nasty , must be what is like to eat a charcoal briquette and hell fire with crushed glass as a preservative

A very good sauce that I think was not mentioned is Tabasco's Chipotle
