Anyone have any input on this call I know its not custom but I can get one on sale right now for 60$ Just wondering if it would be good for hunting and/or prospecting late morning. Thanks

On sale for $60 doesn't seem like that good of a deal to me on a mass production call.

My son won a power hen at a NWTF banquet. Actually sounds great and made very well.

Yeah $60.00 isn't a great deal on them. I have one and they are decent calls. But if you want a longbox I would look at Jeff McKamey or TJ Johnson. But the others mentioned are really good also.

Yes he was asking about a 60 dollar call, but a lot of us have been down that road, and if he continues to hunt turkeys, he's going to want a good custom call. So all we are doing is giving him opinions, to skip the production call and save his money for good custom call. We are all here to help each other.. IMO...

I have the Power Hen and the Wicked series both. I like how both sound. The Power hen is a higher pitched call that's fairly clean and rolls over to moderate rasp. I have several custom box calls but I hunt the 2 Zinks

Can't forget about a Lynch foolproof box. I have several box calls, custom and production, and it is still one of my favorite calls.

Ernie Fetters, Marlin Watkins, Ralph Snodgrass and Russel Beard are ones I would add though there are those here that know more than I do by far.
