I am taking advantage of a break I have off this year and hitting GA for the last weekend of season probably be there 12-15. I am curious if that late in season the gobblers are still responding and coming to calls. My thought is to go to the wma's at higher elevations for this reason. Am I off base? Not looking for any specific spots just want to know if they shut down by then or they are still active. I need to check GA off my list and do not know much about the area. Any tips on just WMA's in general where they are still gobbling that late in the year is a bonus. I appreciate any help I can get.
