Can you post pictures to someone in Private Message on the forum? If you can, how do you go about doing this on the pm message?

Hobbes

Sent you a PM to make sure that it works, but you just have to upload to a photo hosting site then place it in the PM just like a thread.  Use the photo link from the site and the bracketed img on either side

You can use the insert image button just under the Bold button above for the img's  place the link between the two.

The same way you post a photo to a thread, just insert it into the text box for the message rather than a thread reply.

I believe Tapatalk also has it in the app to upload an image to a message.

Yes you can. Same principles and procedures as on the regular forum.

Sent from deep in the woods where the critters roam.

Thanks Greg, I still haven't got it yet. I will try again. Thanks for info.....I just do not know how to take it from my library that was downloaded from Flickr and add it to message. The regular thread has the additional option feature.......

I download from Flickr into my photo library. Then on regular thread, I hit Additional option, and add it. On the personal message, there is no additional options except save a copy. I am stumped.....

You don't have to use any buttons.  You can use the Flickr link to your photo and add the img brackets on both ends.
The bottom photo shows what it should look like.

Odd, I have sent pictures without the img. brackets as well.

This is how I do it with Flickr.
Upload the pic to Flickr
Click on the picture and at the bottom click on the share button (an arrow).
When the box opens, click on "BBC CODE". Click on the link to the picture to highlight it, then right click and choose copy.
Then select the size of the picture.
Go to where you want to post it, right click then select paste.

It sounds like a lot more work than it is.

If they could add additional option attachment tool to the personal message thread like the regular threads, my problem is solved. :z-winnersmiley:
