One of my vendors is a tree surgeon by trade. I have done a lot of reading on here and thought I would hit him up for you guys. He said he stock piles a ton of wood at his yard after he is done cutting them down.
I told him that some of the "other" stuff would be in demand such as burls of any type, cherry, walnut, hickory, pecan, holly, etc. He just got rid of some mulberry burl. He said he gets some "others" in and if there is some demand that he would be ok with me giving out his number so guys can contact him to get hold of it.
I think he has just been splitting stuff and giving it away as fire wood. If yall are interested let me know. He is just outside of Charleston, SC.
