I had better luck out of the stock benelli full choke that came with the gun. Apex #9's 3" 1 5\8.

I'll be shooting hand loads. 2 3/4 and 3". We will see.

Thanks. I called them today and they said possibly next moth they will be in stock.

I called Jebs this morning. They will let you try out and swap chokes. And if none work out they will refund your money. Pretty darn good deal if you ask me.

I'm going to try em out. The . 560 was recommended to me for a 1 5/8 oz load of tss.
JEBS will take care of you that's for sure if you aren't happy with the pattern give them a call they will either tighten or open the choke up on what your results are I run a 560 shooting nitro 8/9 blend but then shells are a little more expensive compared to others

slicksbeagles1

Did you ask IC if they would work with you also?

I'm sure they will.

I'm not a big fan of the Nitros. Too many horror stories in the past and I think they are over priced by a smidge. I'll stick to loading my own shells and save some cost. I can try and taylor a load to the choke rather than be sending it back for a different constriction if needed. It just stinks to have to blow through components. Who knows it might work out perfect. I'll find out shortly.

Ok guys here are some pics from the couple shots through the Jebs .560 I took today. All 40yrds. First is a 9 1/2 x 9 tss load. 5/8oz of 9 1/2's under 1 oz of 9's.

Second up. 1 5/8 oz of straight 9's. 2 3/4" load.

Last one. 3" load of 1 5/8 oz #9's.

I'm not too happy with the results so it's on too a different constriction or trying different loads through it.

Dang, all three look pretty darn good. You chasing numbers for a hotter core or what is your ultimate outcome? Put a count on there in the 10" so we have a better idea at just what size those patterns are. I had my best hot core pattern with a Jebs .570 in my Affinity but I also shot the .565 and .575. Either of the latter were 280 + or - with the Federal TSS #9 and a Sumtoy .562 was just a little hotter at 300 or so, all with a 26" barrel. I just got a 24" barrel for it so I am going to shoot a .565 and .575 Jebs again and a .562 and .570 Sumtoy. But by just looking at your patterns, the density looks good. Just need to be centered.

Yep I'm looking for a hotter core. That's a pretty open pattern for 40 yrds and #9's. Even pattern but needs to be tightened up a good bit. As far as poi I was rushing and was my first time out with the m2. I am shooting to the left a smidge but wanted to show the patterns. They are 28 x 22 sheets of paper. 208 in the ten is the hottest core. Too much wasted shot. I'd hunt ducks with the choke though.

Yep, you should be able to beat 208. I just couldn't tell how hot without some reference.

Easily.
