I set up where I have heard birds before and did not hear a thing.  I know season is closing and things are starting to get quiet but after my sit, I went for a ride and saw 5 hens all alone and not one tom or jake.  Where are the male birds?  I would think that they would be out and about still.  Tomorrow is the last day so I will give it one more go.  If I don't get one that is okay.  I had a great season.

If you are not hearing them and if you have been seeing them in a field of a morning try setting up a hen and strutter decoy do some soft calling and wait most of the time they will suprise you when they come in just be careful when you move. Just my two cents worth!
