Red Dawn Raiders 2012

Before the contest gets over and everyone goes fishing, I would like some feedback on this thread or in pms on forming next years team. First, will need to know who wants to return in 2012. As most probably know, this team isn't formed around 9 guys that shoot over 5 birds every year.    Heck most of us are struggling to put down one 1/2 the time. Every year the team is formed of ex Raiders, and how many depends on what we are allowed to start with. This year it was 9, and I think we ended up with 11, which was really cool. Now as we get more people every year added to the base we start with, we get more Raiders available for the team every year. How would you like the base team picked for next year? So far, past the first year, I've been doing it on kind of a first come basis. Do you want me to continue forming this team or would you like to see a different system. Being it is a contest, I'm leaning towards choosing guys off the Raiders that are consistently putting up birds every year, including the years that they haven't been on our team. Open for discussion.

Just a heads up Jay.  Don't get too far ahead of yourself on this for next year.  The other day Shannon was telling me that next year he may go with 6 teams members to start and then the rest as random picks.  Not saying that is the way it will end up but that is his thinking at the moment.

I figured if that is your life goal, you live a boring life!  No chance of being a winner if you are on this team!

Boring is your team. At least you can come over here, and talk crap.  We actually like the attention.

Yea, but that's the only attention you get. Nobody just stops by to see if you guys killed any birds because there isn't much to see here.

Would love to have you back. You are one heckuva Turkey hunter, but we'll see how many guys we get to retain next year. It's been 9, but sounds like they are cutting back to 6 in 2012, which will bust up the teams pretty much.
