Anyway to repair this leg or at least paint it somewhat?

Heres a pair I found scrummaging through one of my boxes in the attic.  Wished I would have gotten this 1 mounted but he didnt fit my criteria at the time.  Anyway to make this look a little better?

Get yourself another similar turkey leg,..pop off the same scales on that leg,...and superglue them in place on the one you want to repair.

Thanks for the replies guys.  I've always just dejointed them and doused them with 20 mule team and threw them in a box.  I may just cut the spurs off all of em and make me a necklace.
