Irish setter vaprtrek boots?

3 years on mine.  Good boot as long as I'm on flat ground, but get into Hill country or long distance grouse hunts and they are  god awful.

This will be my 3rd season with mine and they're the best snake boots i've ever owned. The waterproofing isn't as good as it was when they were new but like others said, that usually wanes with time. They seriously fit like tennis shoes and they're super comfortable. Having said all that, i feel like the soles are made from some soft material that wears faster than normal hard rubber soles. Mine have lost most of the lugs on the bottom and I'm sure they'll be junk after this season. I do a lot of walking but i feel like the soles wore faster than they should. Nevertheless, i will be buying another pair. Great boots

Mine leaked from day one. Light and comfortable but had to use half a can of sno-seal on them to keep the water out.

Going into the second season with mine. I hunt nothing but mountains,public and private, for deer and turkey. These are great lightweight boots ( don't have the snake boots).

In the last 365 days, I think we've had 5 days without rain.
I've had plenty of chances to get these boots wet......haven't leaked yet.

Tough to find any boot these days that stay water proof. I looked at these and I really like them, only problem is I already have a Basement full of perfectly good boots that leak. I've been a Danner pronghorn guy for years but you only get one or so years and they leak. Pushing your feet thru dew soaked grass will really test them. I would buy a better pair if I could find something else that wasn't heavy,but for around $200 you would think they would last

 I agree w/ the statement about wearing like snakeproof tennis shoes. Mine started comfortable and did not really even require any breaking-in time. Word of warning...don't put your feet to close to the campfire, because the soles will melt fast and you will end up with no tread. Duh! I am not definitely not impressed with the removable insoles though after 3 seasons.
