Dawkins box call

Anyone else getting closer on his list? I'm around 14 months in and he told me 18 months. I have to admit I'm looking forward to getting my hands on my call when it shows up. So let's hear it.....who else is gonna have a new call in the next couple months from Mr. Dawkins??

He is the most consistent callmaker out there and what's so impressive is it is truly 100% hand made every step of the way.

We talked for 30+ minutes on the phone about calls and when it was over, I told him to make me a call that he felt met his expectations in a turkey call. Short box without grooves I believe is what he wanted to make me. Honestly, it's been so long I can't really remember the details, nor do I think any of it will matter. I do know that I'll have him send me a pot call or two.....why not, right!?!?

I ordered a box call     May 1-2018     Mr Dawkins said it was up to a 2 year wait list now.

I also ordered a  persimmon slate from Wynne Game calls. He had a 3 month waiting list.      Its almost been 10 months so i contacted Mr Wynne just to check in --
he said he  hasn't forgotten me  he just hasn't gotten to my name yet.

Well if you've been waiting 3 years I doubt your anywhere close at 14 months OP. No matter how long it's worth the wait though.

I got one from him at Unicoi this year and i'm still on his list .. got about year to go on his list ... i got the pleasure of picking one out of about 6 at Unicoi ....
