Is this similar to Unicoi where the call makers display calls for sale?

Having not been to Unicoi I can not compare the two. I was at turkey trot last year and yes there are call makers with calls on display and for sale.  It is a very laid back atmosphere with a bunch of good guys talking turkeys and playing some of the finest calls around.

Turkey Trot is much smaller and in a camp/woods atmosphere. It's more like a picnic/party/get together with a whole lot of turkey hunting/ callmaking knowledge. The NWTF involvement is on Saturday when they have their fund raising picnic their.

I will be there Friday and I cannot wait! I'd like to stay Saturday too, but it's the wife's birthday. At least she gave me the green light for Friday.
REALLY looking forward to meeting Marlin and picking up a special fiddlebox he has set aside for me. It will be like Christmas Day!
If anyone is thinking about going you better get tickets ASAP. Saturday is sold out, and they want to limit it to 100-125 admission tickets for Friday, and they are at or near 100 sold. I wouldn't count on driving over and getting your ticket at the door, you maybe disappointed.
Should be a great time!
