It's a toss up between NC and tenn for me. Although I truly love Alabama and Florida as well.

hobbes

I'm glad I don't have to choose.  I started on hard gobbling Easterns in Southern IL in both hardwood ridges and Ohio River riverbottoms.  I dont get to go home and hunt them every year but would hate to think that I couldn't hunt hard gobbling easterns on my home ground again with family and friends.

Colorado was good to me while I lived there and I love hunting the mountains but most years you can only shoot one bird unless you draw a limited permit.

Nebraska has always been fun so it would be near the top of the list.  I've just never particularly wanted to live there.

I dont plan on leaving Montana anytime soon due to the other opportunities here, so I'd probably just say Montana for now.  While our numberd arent up there wih other states, opportunity increased this year.  It just requires driving all over a really big state.  i can drive 8 hrs and still be in MT.  I can hunt ponderosa covered ridges and hills, ponderosa covered break country, cottonwood riverbottoms, or fir, spruce and larch covered mountains .....all in one state.

fallhnt
