Eastern or Osceola?

Thanks! I didnt have a scale to weigh him his beard was 10 1/2", spurs 1". Biggest Gobbler Ive ever shot.

I hunted a lease in the Big Bend area years ago and most of the birds looked just like this one. Heavy Osceola influence on the birds there.  That is what you have, I believe.  The Osceola's I have killed were so long ago, the only pictures I still have are of a skinny guy with long hair that resembles me and are taken with a Polaroid!!   can't tell much about the wings on those old photos.

Never noticed the difference before. Except maybe Osceola have longer legs
