She posed the question "If someone gave you a million dollars, would you walk away from it?"  That is a fair question.  I'll answer that question...If you offer me a million dollars that you earned and it is your money to do with what you want, you bet I'll take it and be very grateful.  The money she is getting is not EARNED by the government but rather TAKEN from us working people via taxes.  Last time I asked, we have no choice in the matter.

That's very true..

The other problem is that the government is offering it to these people in the first place.  I'm all for helping those in need, but not people that don't want to help themselves.

   I get up at 0330 every day to go to work, I am a 48 year old man that actually believes that is my responsibility. I was raised that a man has a responsibility to take care of his family. My mom was a single mom that raised 3 kids and worked 60 hours a week and I don't remember her not being there. She made all my school events and only got help from our family members, babysitting, etc.. She is the best person I know, I try to make her proud, she deserves my effort and so does my family. I hope more of us choose to not take a free ride and teach our children the same. The sense of entitlement in our young people is a big problem. I choose to do my share because it is the right thing to do for me, my family and my country. Please educate a young person and lead by example to show them how it is supposed to be.
