I'm sure they will at some point,as they offer a 3"vinci with one.If i remember correctly, the original vinci's were only offered in 26 and 28 when they were introduced.Benelli seems very slow at times releasing stuff. The raised cheekpiece/combs are just now becoming availabe for the vinci, even though they advertised them back in 09'.Part of the reason i bought it was the supposed accessorys that were going to be available to interchange.I guess they can't import the steadygrip for it as a seperate piece due to B.a.t.f regulations, same goes for the extended magazine tubes.Don't really care about the mag tubes, but it ticks me off i can't get the steady grip to swap on for turkey, then swap back for waterfowl.Oh well, maybe some manufacturer will start making them in the U.S.but it probably will end up costing $400 lol!Love Benellis, just wish the accessories wern't so darn expensive!

They are very slow getting new products out.  You have to remember, things from benelli are expensive because the guns are expensive.  That's the way it is with everything.

Clark has a good point regarding temper...I took my Bennelli SBEII to a local gunsmith who assured me that he could drill and tap the receiver for a scope mount...After ruining two or three drills and his threading tap, he gave it back to me with one threaded hole and three unthreaded ones and an embarrassed smile...It's still like that...That Crio is HARD!!!
I can see that you're determined but man, I'd be cautious!

I went through the same thing with a buddies SBEII. He wanted it drilled and tapped. Took it to my smith(been in business over 50 years). Got it back two weeks later with one untapped hole, and three mangled partial holes. Said he broke about 100 bux worth of tools trying to do it, and he wasn't about to break any more! That benelli steel is tough!

While an extra 4 inches would help a lot of guys in a couple of areas...

What do you think 4 inches of shotgun barrel weighs?

4 inches in terms of increasing your 'mobility' really ain't gonna buy you much.

Send me $100 for saving you the smith work or the cost of a new barrel.

You are welcome.

Exactly.

Every year people think shorter is better and weighs less.  Well truth be told shorter is'nt better and 4" shorter barrel weight ain't gonna matter much.

I TOO AGREE W/ ALL ABOUT SHOOTING...ROB ROBERTS @ GOBBLER GUNS IN ARKANSAS 1-877-251-9955. I WOULD SAY HE CAN CUT & THREAD YR BBL TO WHATEVER LENGTH U DESIRE. HE DOES INDEED DO ALL OF BENELLIS CUSTOM SHOP TURKEY/WATERFOWL GUNS,IVE DEALT W/ ROB FOR SEVERAL YRS NOW & HE IS ONE OF THE MOST HELPFUL & KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE IN THIS LINE OF WORK AS ARE ALL OF HIS STAFF. I WOULD RECOMMEND U HAVE HIM LENGTHEN & POLISH THE FORCING CONE AND FIX U UP W/ A CHOKE AS WELL...ALL U NEED TO DO IS TELL HIM WHAT LOAD & DISTANCE U DESIRE.HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL,AND HAPPY HUNTIN!!!!!

I think a 21" barrel would be cool. Hell I would buy one for mine in a heart beat if they offered it. I know that 4" is not much, but it does feel more handy. I have recently started reusing my old school 21" barreled 11-87 just because it feels so much handier. I am gonna look into an M2. Didn't realize they made one with a 21". My Benelli has a 24" but with the longer 3.5 capable receiver, it feels more like a 26"+. The more compact Remington just seems to fit my turkey hunting style a little better than a longer gun. Its no wonder that I have traded it off a couple times, but always went back to get her! Two gobblers have hated it this year already!!
