Neat video, I was told about it from a friend, but never saw it until now.
Somethings I came away with .
1. The man in the video is not a turkey hunter, never will be.
2. Did you notice the size of the birds at 1 1/2 yrs? It seems like it takes at least that long for a bird to mature, maybe closer to 2 yrs. So if hunting season is March, the birds lay there eggs and they hatch around May, the birds will not be mature until October, 1 1/2 yrs later.
So that is means birds in the area I hunt will not be mature, shooting size for 2 yrs maybe 3, or 2 or 3 opening weekends of the spring turkey season.
That is something to think about if you hunt the same areas and take a few birds from the same area, you could really damage your bird population by just taking a couple of gobblers a year.
