Don't know if Charlie Boswell ever lifted his recommedation of not shooting Hevi-13 loads through them though, but I know a lot of people do with no problems. Kicks makes a very thick choke. I had a .669 Indian Creek BDS choke for my 870. It shot the best in my 28" barrel. I tried a .665 and didn't like it. Took it back and tried a .655. It did a lot better, but I wanted to try a more open choke, so I tried the .669 they had and wow. I thought I would try 1 more and went to a .675 choke, but I took it back and kept the .669. Stuart and Mike are both great guys. And they do stand behind what they sell. I have the utmost respect for both of them. They say you can shoot extended range and one type of Nitro. They stil advise against TSS and HeviI also shoot a MAD .675 Super Max choke which was made by Indian Creek. It shoots extremely well with good Hevi-13 shells. I'll add that a lot of times just because a certain brand choke don't seem to do as well is due to the inconsistency of the Hevi-13 loads. I know firsthand how some will shoot simply awesome patterns from a particular box(lot #) and another box(different lot #) will shoot a lot worse.
