I was able to scoop up a 3/4" thick piece on ebay. Bronzed glass with a glass soundboard. Nice to be able to pull a call off the lathe and glue it right up.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks. It sounds nice- really crisp. They make the 3/4" in only a few of the colors. I just found an ebay seller who has scraps of it- mostly too small for calls and mostly in 1/2".

I did find that you can order 4"X4"X1/2" pieces direct from corian for $2 a piece. That's a $4 call blank after gluing and I paid $14 for the piece I bought and only got 1 call out of it. Next time I'll probably try the 4X4 samples.

Go to your local counter top contractors or look them up in the phonebook. I found one near me that sells nothing but Corian countertops. I wlked in one morning and talked to some of the workers and then found the boss. I told him what I was doing and he took me to the shop where they cut it. There were so many pieces of scrap along the wall you couldn't see the wall. He asked me what size and I showed him with my hands and he took me over and gave me a couple peices about 10X24. The next time I went in I brought some doughnuts and bagels. He filled up my trunk. Good luck,

Good looking call! I like it

Y'all talking about scraps or drops, I found a guy in town that will give you all the granet you can haul. Stuff is great for gluing on because the ca and epoxy will scrape off it
