You have to determine if they are "funny" hens like the gobblers so many of us deal with.
They don't appear to be funny, just snoody.

You may have a bunch of deputant hens running around your place, ever think of that?

I'll have to look that one up and get back with you.
If I'm not back in five minutes, wait longer!

Nope, I'm still going with snoody.

If you call try to call the hens in shouldn't you use a gobble call like the taint or whatever it's callled.

Ha, hen's aren't much for the taint from what I hear....

They may respond better to the tube call!

A gobble call like the "taint" or whatever it's called.

That made me laugh out loud.  :TooFunny:

I have had great success/luck with calling to a hen. But, the hens i called to were already with the gobbler. It's kind of like picking a fight. When the hens would call, i would cut them off. Hardly ever repeated or mimicked the. Just cut real aggressive, and the girls get mad and come to see what low life, no good hussy was trying to steal their man. If you locate a roosted flock (gobbler and hens) call to her.

Its no different than humans really. Boys will follow the girl.

That's pretty much what I do and I have had alot of success doing that.   Get the ol' boss hen to answer you and start cutting her off.. will get her feathers in a wad right quick.  I just picture it as someone being rude.. keep being rude enough to her and she will eventually want to kick your butt!!  Doesn't work everytime but it has worked enough to know it's not a fluke.
