The Hevishot choke has internal steps like the Indian Creek and doesn't have all that many parallel slots that weaken the construction. The Hevishot choke I have in my Xtrema smoked every other choke I've tried using Hevi 7's. Plus it's cheaper than an IC. I feel the PG would be a better option than the IC as well, simply from a durability standpoint.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have barely gotten any choke/shell combo to break 200 inside 10 inches at 40 yards. The Hevishot choke with Hevi 7's put 278 inside 10 inches at 40 yards out of my 835. Not saying they will out perform every other choke by that margin in any gun of course. There is, of course, no way to kniow which choke a gun will like best. But I'd say they warrant being considered right up there with the other top chokes out there.

It has a very strong and robust design, proven over many years, with all kinds of turkey shotshells.I also try to shoot every choke tube that's available to us as turkey hunters and as far as I know, I've done that. There are many good chokes out there today and that's a very good thing. When I evaluate anything, chokes tubes included, I look first at performance. It must perform. Secondly, it must be worth the money you have to pay for it. Based upon my experience, of comparing all the turkey chokes out there today, for anyone looking at a new turkey choke, it really is worthwhile to consider the Hevi-13 Turkey Chokes. They are well made, of excellent materials, well designed and very fairly priced. Thanks,Clark
