I have some of the industrial material.  It's not much different than acrylic when turning/machining.   When it's done it's no different than acrylic.  If the material  is solid and non porous it makes no difference.

Was just running your trumpet with a micarta MP and she runs sweet, easy and smooth.

My Permar .45.....

A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
Over time...they come to learn how little air a good yelper actually requires. ChesterCopperpot

The best mouth piece you can get, is Amodel, hard as ivory, but a lot tougher. Also hard to get.

Is this just your opinion or can it be proven as fact

Having spent 25 years making trumpets, and using every metal, horn, bone, ivory, plastic, wood, porky pine Quills and anything else I could get my hands on that I though might work and never finding anything better, Yep that's my opinion.

10 4 I've been fortunate to hear a few of the best and they never have mentioned amodel as a game changer.
