SG or Browning Turkey Chair?

I'm surprised either one weighs about as much as a rifle. But I guess that's why they last.

The aluminum frame one is around 4 pounds. It's a lot lighter. I have both. The lighter aluminum only only comes in two colors that are not best for hunting. I got one and spray painted and fashioned a carry strap. Much better than the "vanish" camo for carry


I bought the same hybrid aluminum/steel Alps chair in orange and also spray painted it. It's 4.5 lbs on my digital scale and it does come with a nice oversized bag to carry it in. I just use the bag for storage and added a shoulder strap and a clip on mine to keep the chair closed up when walking. Added some links below for comparison for anybody that's interested.
