I got my tags from the DLNR office today.  :blob10: I'm going over later in the season than usual. We're hoping the windy weather dies down by then. I've had some good action in the late season before. Fingers crossed.

A friend and I got them in case the state (HI) decides to close offices on account of Corona virus. Unfortunately, HI does not allow private vendors to sell tags. Walmarts and other sporting good stores sell licenses, but not the tags. Frustrating.

I don't know what to make of this whole Coronavirus stuff. While I agree we need to be a little more cautious completely shutting down life may not be the answer. I hunt on an Army base and I am worried they may limit access to only essential personnel it would more than likely close the season. Even though I am an ID card holder from active duty it doesn't matter. Hopefully common sense prevails. Don't think I am going to catch Coronavirus hunting turkey by myself. Best of luck to you.

Whole virus thing has got out of hand. One well two good things gas prices have dropped and the stupid people will get some exercise while they try to horde toilet paper lol. Good luck on the tags

Yeah, I don't get the whole toilet paper thing.  I mean, of all the things a person would want to stock up on, why the rush to get as much TP as you can?

What good is a license without a tag?  Some of our States DNR's have some of the Most Idiotic Laws and Rules.

rakkin, I'm a Veteran as well and live within a mile of a Marine Corps base.  As you know well, these bases can be reduced to essential personnel only and that would eliminate most on base privileges.  I hope it doesn't come to that.  This CV is effecting us ALL in so many ways.  Stay flexible and Positive.  We will get through this.  This too Shall Pass.

Yep.  Waaaaay overblown at the moment.  When it starts killing as many as the flu or the healthy then I'll worry. Looks like my hunts just got a lot cheaper.  Plane tickets and even car rental has dropped big

Yeah I hunt Fort Campbell on the Kentucky/Tennessee border has of right now they are keeping the schools on base open Fort Campbell still has DOD schools. My wife is a teacher on base so we get pretty updated info. Plus we haven't really heard anything from our chain of command. It would be nice if we could just do TELECHECK on base. Not sure if the Marine Corps base you hunt uses ISPORTSMAN or not. But we do everything online already has far has getting permits and hunting areas etc. Just do TELECHECK and no human contact required. But like you said this shall pass. Best of luck to everyone this year.
