This wind makes it seem like they disappeared. Between wind and all the other hunters made for a dismal morning.

shot a bow tournament this weekend up in Ocala but will be at it this weekend out in the big cypress . good luck to all and congrats to those lucky ones. Heard the camping grounds where full to capacity in bear island about 50- 50 with Floridians and yankees )))))))))) good luck

Enjoyed the "cooler" side of the Florida turkey opener  and the wind sucked. My 7yr old killed his first ever w 91/2" beard opening morning and dumped a 130 lb sow that evening.  I followed up with a 10 1/2" at the same spot the next morning.  Luckily, the winds really didn't start until 10am every morning where we were. Gobbled and strutted all the way in both times.  Made for a great show for the lil man.
