Had an absolutely awesome time at Mr. Mabry's. Every good thing you've read about his hospitality is 100% true. I was there from 11:30-3:00 and the visit was way too short. I bought a box (walnut/poplar), a mahogany slate, & a Ambrosia Maple scratcher. Ironically, the scratcher is probably my favorite. I played dozens of calls until I settled on these and he patiently listened and offered encouragement as I did so. He also shared great hunting stories but I was so wrapped up in the calls I could really get the full effect. Lord willing, I'm going back before Summer is over. There's a long box with perfect keep kees with my name on it I hope. I have some great pics but the motel wifi is not sufficient.
