I love my alpha burlys. That can't be beat for comfort. I wear them for everything hunting related. Turkey, deer, scouting, shed hunting......

I add one pair of LaCrosse boots about 10-12 yrs. ago. They were so tight around the ankles, they were very hard to get on and off. I ended up giving them to my brother-in-law. I have been using the Cabelas brand boots since...I'm on my 2nd pair. The first pair lasted about 5-6 yrs before they started to crack & leak where they flex. The second pair are still going strong and this will be their 5th spring(I wear them for turkey and deer). The only issue I have with the second pair is at times they have a very strong rubber smell...even after 4+ years. Cabelas did change the rubber make-up from the first set to the 2nd, but so far the 2nd set has been just as durable as the first. Now that I said that, I probably just jinxed myself and will end up with leaking boots this spring. :toothy12:

I love the alpha burlys as well.  They fit me well and are very comfortable.  I've had quite a few pair in my 60 years.  I just don't understand the bonding issue.  Some of you may like to spend $150-$200 a pair for boots and only get 4 years of Average Wear out of them but I don't.  Maybe I'm Old Fashioned but I believe in getting my moneys worth from something that I shell out money for, especially when I took very good care of it.  Quality means a lot to me and this was a Quality issue since these boots haven't been abused.  I did have the boots sent back, should be here Monday, and Shoe Goo has been purchased.  I hope to get a few more years out of them since the uppers and soles are in Great shape.

Boots just don't last I can beat the tar out of a nice set of boots in just a few seasons.
