Great little gun.  My son and myself both have one.  I turned mine into a tss machine.

They may indeed be the same gun but every rem shotgun I've bought from Walmart had tool marked barrels which took a good bit of polishing to clean up. Those rough barrels may explain a lot of patterning problems. I'd suggest you look at the barrel before buying.
