Spring Creek Calls

Here's a couple one siders that won't break the bank and sound great. Both are glued up boxes. I hunt both as each has a different sound. The walnut call is an Olin Humphries call I picked up at Unicoi 2016. The cherry and walnut is a Dale Rohm I picked up on eBay. The piece of wood you can see in the Humphries call is a tuning wedge that can be moved to change the pitch of the call.

no advantage either one, hunt what you like

I am also interested in what the reasoning or advantage would be in a single-sided box call...

More difficult call to make, and more expensive to purchase, so I would assume that there would be some reason or sound difference that would create a market for them?

KYTurkey gave some reasons (as far as being easier to cluck and pur on)...  Don't know if he is referring to that particular call or all one-siders though?

I would be curious as to what if any practical advantages a one-sider has over a traditional 2-sided call?
Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.

You can get a half hearted jake gobble out of a single sider, I actually did it on this bird.
