Called in my first good gobbler with that call. It's a good one!  As far as custom calls there are many good ones but my first custom call was a Lon Trice osage orange slate. Still probably one of the best sounding slates I've had.

My favorites are anything made by Lonnie Mabry out of Canton, GA.  The man knows his stuff when making pot calls.
