Gigantor is a good name! Thanks again guys for the kind words!

And don't worry! I'm still at it with the old man. We're going to try and bag a tom at our favorite property that has significant birds moving at all times. Let's see if we can work one!

What I'd really love to see is this group of two year old birds we've been watching. thatd be a perfect cap to the season. To be now at working any gobbler will be a good end to the season lol.

Congrats. to both you and your Dad,nice bird.
Thanks fan man. My dad deserves a literal trophy for the patience and perseverance.

My god. Think about it? We tried all this time and finally get one and its a giant? Nothing worth it comes easy. Turkey hunting is a perfect example.

Hey man thanks!

Another tidbit of information. My dad looked back at his biggest turkey. It was shot in the exact hedgerow and field corner I shot mine.

His was 23 lbs  3/4 inch worn down Spurs and a nice 8 inch beard. Pretty darn close in all dimensions.

We will be talking about this bird (my family) for years to come. Really wish had the funds to mount the bird.

My dad sent the photo to every vendor and every family member even ones we haven't heard from in a long time. They all thought we were lying about the weight lol.

I've carried birds for my dad as a teen and nothing and this thing walked the wa,
